Quotes and Sales Mode

Solvera turns a configured solar system into a quote your customer can act on, and gives your sales team a dedicated workspace to build and send quotes on behalf of customers.

The customer quote page

When a customer finishes the wizard, they reach a full-page quote that replaces the step layout. It includes:

The customer-facing quote page on the storefront. The top shows the wizard tabs with Review highlighted, a Previous button on the left, and a Share This Quote button on the right. Two cards sit side by side below: Get Your Quote with email, first name, last name, and optional ZIP fields and an Email Me the Quote button; and Add Items to Cart with a cart icon, an Estimated Total of 19,549.57 dollars, a 28 items ready for cart label, and an Add to Cart button. Below the cards is a Bill of Materials table grouped by Modules, Energy Storage, Inverters, and Racking, with promotional badges like 30 percent off and Best seller on flagged items
The customer-facing quote page. The Get Your Quote card on the left captures email submissions; the Add Items to Cart card on the right takes the customer directly into the Shopify checkout. The Share This Quote button at the top generates a link the customer can save or send.

Email Quote

The customer enters their name, email, and an optional ZIP code, then submits. They receive a branded confirmation email with the full BOM and a link back to their quote. The email uses your company profile, branding, and the templates configured in Quote Delivery.

Share Quote

The customer generates a shareable link to the quote and can copy it, send it by email, or send it on WhatsApp. Anyone who opens the link sees the same BOM and can take action on it. Links can have an optional expiry configured in Quote Delivery.

Add to Cart

The customer adds the entire configured system to the standard Shopify cart and proceeds through Shopify's native checkout. Line items with Shopify variant IDs become real cart items. Solvera does not process payments; checkout always happens through Shopify.

The standard Shopify cart populated with the configured solar system. The cart shows multiple line items including Wire Clip for Double PV Wire, Enphase ET-CLIP-100 Engage Cable Clips, Enphase IQ Battery 5P All-In-One AC-Coupled Storage System, Enphase IQ8 Plus Microinverter with Integrated MC4 Connectors, IronRidge Low Profile Grounding Lug, IronRidge UFO Universal Grounding Module Clamp, IronRidge UFO End Fastening Object Black End Clamp, IronRidge XR100 Rail End Caps, and Enphase Q Cable. Each line shows a quantity stepper, a delete icon, and a total price

The live BOM sidebar

Throughout the wizard, a sidebar shows the bill of materials as it builds:

The storefront mid-wizard on the Inverters step. The main area shows Inverter Type cards (Microinverters selected, Optimizers, String Inverters), a Minimum Temperature input, and a Select Microinverter grid with four product cards. The right sidebar shows Your Quote with a System Overview at the top (Panel STC Power 545, Total Number of Panels 10), then collapsible sections for Modules with one line item, Energy Storage with one line item, and Inverters with multiple line items already populated. At the bottom is an Estimated Total of 15,359.53 dollars
The live BOM sidebar mid-wizard. As the customer makes selections, categories fill in progressively. The estimated total at the bottom updates instantly.

Sales Mode Growth+

Sales Mode is a separate workspace for your reps to build quotes for customers, for example over the phone or in person. Reach it from the top app navigation: New Quote, Quotes, and Analytics.

New Quote

Reps run the same configurator workflow a customer would, with two important differences:

A "Sales Mode" indicator at the top of the page makes it clear the rep is working in the sales workspace, not the customer-facing storefront.

The Sales Mode New Quote workspace. The top shows a New Quote heading with a SALES MODE badge and a Refresh button. The Solvera-branded configurator runs below with the standard wizard tabs and the rep currently on Step 4 of 6 (Inverters). The Inverters step shows Inverter Type cards (String Inverters selected), a battery backup yes or no question, a String Inverter Type dropdown, an Inverter Manufacturer selector (Fortress Power selected), and a Temperature Range section. The right sidebar shows Your Quote with System Overview and BOM categories Modules, Energy Storage, Inverters, and Racking, with an Estimated Total of 13,159.44 dollars
The Sales Mode New Quote workspace, mid-flow on the Inverters step. The SALES MODE indicator at the top distinguishes the rep workspace from the customer-facing storefront. Internal-only products appear in the catalog selections.

Editable BOM and quote review

On the final review step, reps can:

Changes are protected by an unsaved-changes guard, so a rep does not lose work by navigating away. The page also includes a Customer Information card, a Sales Actions card (with the rep's display name and Save Quote / Email Quote to Customer buttons), and an Internal Notes field that is not visible to the customer.

The Sales Mode quote review and editing screen. The top shows a back link to Quotes, the quote reference SQ-GFHT6D, and an EDITING badge. Below is a pricing breakdown with a Subtotal (28 items) of 19,735.92 dollars, a checked Shipping insurance surcharge for 355.25 dollars, a Shipping line for 1,709.72 lbs with an editable dollar input set to 450 (showing 450.00 dollars), a checked Est. Tax line with an editable 4 percent rate (showing 789.44 dollars), and an Estimated Total of 21,330.61 dollars. Below the breakdown are a Customer Information card with editable email, first name, last name, company, phone, and ZIP fields; a Sales Actions card with a Your Name field set to Merav D, a Save Quote button, and an Email Quote to Customer button; an Internal Notes text area not visible to the customer; and a Bill of Materials table with editable QTY and UNIT PRICE input fields on each row and a delete X button
The Sales Mode quote review screen with full editing capabilities: editable pricing breakdown at the top (shipping freight quote, tax rate), customer info, sales actions, internal notes, and a BOM where every quantity, unit price, and line item can be modified.

Save and Send

Reps can save a quote as a draft and send it to the customer using the Sales Rep Outreach email template (which supports merge tags including the rep name and signature). The customer receives the quote and can view it and act on it just like any storefront quote.

Quotes list

Open Quotes from the top navigation to see all quotes in one place:

Editing existing quotes and duplicating quotes are Professional-tier capabilities.

The Quotes list page. The top shows a Quotes heading and a + New Quote button. Below are a search box reading Search by quote ref, name, or email, an All Statuses filter dropdown, and an All Sources filter dropdown. Below that is a table with columns for Quote Ref, Customer, Source, Rep, Status, Total, Notes, Created, and Actions. Several quotes are visible in different statuses and sources: SQ-GFHT6D from a Sales source by Test Sales Rep marked Sent at 19,549.57 dollars; SQ-17YADV from Storefront marked Sent at 37,021.64 dollars; SQ-9GNQGY from Storefront marked Submitted at 37,600.44 dollars; SQ-JEMV80 from Storefront marked Submitted at 37,600.44 dollars; SQ-29XLOW from Sales by Eric Solvera marked Completed at 19,549.58 dollars. Each row has Edit, Duplicate, and Delete action buttons
The Quotes list with the search box, status and source filters, and the per-row Edit, Duplicate, and Delete actions. The Source column makes it easy to separate customer-submitted quotes (Storefront) from rep-built ones (Sales).

Analytics Professional

Open Analytics from the top navigation for a dashboard built from your quote activity. Switch between 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, and YTD time windows.

The Sales Analytics dashboard. The top right has time range tabs (7 days, 30 days selected, 90 days, YTD). Four metric cards across the top show Total Quotes 60, Total Value 2,465,089 dollars, Avg Quote Value 41,085 dollars, and Viewed Rate 36 percent. Below are two side-by-side panels: a Quote Funnel with horizontal bars showing Created 60, Sent 37 with 62 percent sent label, and Viewed 21 with 57 percent viewed label; and a Weekly Volume stacked bar chart showing storefront and sales rep counts across dates from May 11 to June 2. Below that is a Source Breakdown with 29 Storefront and 31 Sales Rep counts and a colored progress bar showing the split. At the bottom is a Per-Rep Breakdown table listing five reps with their created, sent, viewed counts and total values sorted by Total Value descending
The Analytics dashboard. Top-level metrics, the conversion funnel, weekly volume by source, and per-rep performance all in one view. Switch time windows in the top-right tabs.

Quote statuses

Quotes move through clear statuses as they progress:

Sales reps and the Analytics dashboard both use these statuses to track where each quote is in the pipeline.
